Caroline is an Eventing horse rider. She is currently launching her new career in the growing sport and needed a new website to keep her fans updated and to generate interest and media attention.
Her dream is to win medals for her country.
Being a busy woman in her chosen sport Caroline doesn’t have much time to sit at a computer spending hours manually updating a website. So it had to be as quick and easy as possible to maintain.
Every facet of Caroline’s sport had to be represented within the website. She requested that she could display information on her horses, upcoming events, photo albums, videos from YouTube, results, details about her sponsors, and articles in the media.
I developed the Content Management System side of the website using my new favourite software, ExpressionEngine. This enabled me to create a fully bespoke Control Panel for Caroline to use.
I used several shades of green and images of grass and sky in the graphical design of the site, the intention was to keep it in theme as much as possible.
Additionally, I produced a Website User Guide written specifically for Caroline.
